Comments

J. Stumpfel says:

Preachy and repetitive To get to the recipes, I slogged through 8 chapters of very strong opinions that seemed repeated in every chapter. The advice for packing and food safety is sound, which is why I gave it 3 stars–I almost deleted the book because I was tiring of the politics the authors were trying to club me over the head with at every opportunity. Many of the recipes would probably end up in the trash if I packed them for my kids. Some of the recipes didn’t sound appealing at all.

L. Suarez says:

Disappointing Not a picture in the book and few recipes, none of which my children would eat. Nothing special, and it could have been with more fore thought.

A. Giordano says:

Lecture time This is set up more like a stern, repetitive lecture to simple minded people than an informative and helpful book.
